About Us

Sunstates Supply has been around since 1994. We have always been located just south of Downtown Greensboro near the UPS terminal.

Michelle began working here in 1995 and Bob came along in 1999. They worked together under Sunstates Supply until 2003 when a corporation named GCA and Assoc. came along and bought out the small company.

Bob and Michelle had to change gears. They were no longer that small family-owned business that everyone had grown to know and love. They quickly realized that the corporate life was not what they were all about.

One day in 2006, Bob and Michelle brain-stormed an idea to buy the company back and start fresh again as a family-owned business. They accomplished this in 2007 and have been going strong and growing ever since.

They love this business and their customers. They try to bring janitorial supplies and know-how to each customer they come in contact with. Bob is very knowledgeable about how to perform various janitorial cleaning tasks and Michelle manages the finances for the company.  Together they make a great team!

Meet Our Mascot, Elka

If you ever see one of our trucks out on the road making a delivery, you will notice a beautiful German Shephard on the side. Her name is Elka and her proud owners are Bob and Pam Gaynor.  She is very well trained and loves to be at the office with Bob whenever possible.  She also loves visiting the nursing homes and hospice cares around the area with Pam.  The people in these facilities light up as soon as she arrives and can't wait to get a visit from her while she is there.  She is so well-loved that News 2 did a story on her about a year ago.
